Take It To The Grave - Synopsis

The trailer opens with a shot of a sixth form college. A teenage girl (Sarah) opens a door of an office belonging to her young teacher (John), saying he wanted to see her. He invites her to take a seat and the two start talking. A voiceover speaks so we cannot hear what they are saying. The female voice, now recognisable as Sarah's, talks about how she loved John and thought they'd be together forever. Next we see the two stood outside in a grassy area, facing each other. John asks why he brought her here and she tells him she is pregnant, before he storms off. Sarah tries to call him back, but we just see her watch him walk away sadly. We see John pick up a brick, turn it over in his hands and gaze into the distance, before hearing a scream and seeing Sarah running through marshland. She trips and falls and the screen goes black. A news report shows, telling us how the case of Sarah's disappearance has been reopened over shots of forensics searching woodland area and a poster with her photo asking "What happened to Sarah Smith?" Some years later, another young girl (Chloe) is sat in a car. She turns to someone and says "I think I've found where she's buried." We see that she's talking to John, who says he'll take her there. Later, assumedly at the location, he hands her a flask and she takes a sip. History repeats itself as we see Chloe running and screaming whilst trying to escape from John. A slight pause is followed by him picking up a shovel, not noticing the ghost of Sarah behind him. The last thing we see is a shot of Sarah stood outside on a dark street, staring eerily into the camera.
